It wasn’t until after he’d won accolades for his restaurant designs in Atlanta in the early 80’s (Café des Amis on Peachtree Street, voted Atlanta’s Best Little Restaurant, and Saso’s a 175-seat dinner theatre), that Samir Hanna succumbed to his passion for designing interior environments.

He moved to New York to study, and after earning a degree from Parsons School of Design, Samir worked for two of the city’s most successful design firms.

During this time he became well versed in all aspects of interior design, including space planning, design concept and presentation, and project management and coordination. He also gained invaluable experience in dealing with a variety of clients, architects and subcontractors to create spectacular interior environments.

Samir’s special skills include drafting, space planning, and rendering of floor plans, elevations, furniture plans, custom cabinetry and electrical design.

Samir moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1993 to be near his family.  Since moving to Florida, he has created many models for several of the area’s most prestigious builders and developers, as well as numerous residential and commercial projects.
